Our Association is for airplane modelists fascinated with military aviation, and who enjoy building models and flying them.
W.M.W.A. FRANCE wants to promote all crossroads of exchange, communication and help. We hope to bring new contact possibilities between enthusiasts, to organize meetings, to bring numerous sources of documentations and information, of addresses of craftsmen and regional specialists, without which our hobby would be very difficult to exercise and could not develop.
All types of military models are welcome : electric or heat engine planes, gliders, jets, helicopters, gyroplanes, dirigibles having existed or remained to the project stage.
The group would also like to help youngsters and beginners, who are often interested but alone, so that we may supply them with support from experienced modelists and that they can practice their hobby with success. There is no future without youth.
Through the historic aspect of our models, we also pay homage to veterans, as aviators, regardless of their nationality, who fought for their country. Also, the association excludes all shapes of tendency or political adherence. This is not the object of our hobby.
In return for a symbolic involvement, in order to cover expenses, every member receives a badge.
All members of the association have the title of "Colonel", and are equal.
This is the spirit that instituted the W.M.W.A.
